Great tactical gameplay with an intelligent AI capable of challenging you Wide variety of enemies and obstacles, including multi-stage boss fights reminiscent of the Gears of War series Interesting new features, such as a movement boost if ending in cover, and the removal of the ubiquitous movement/attack phases found in the genre Strong character customisation, from choosing skills and upgrading weaponry to giving them a cosmetic overhaul Looks and sounds great, with particular detail given to character and enemy models Pros Movement controls can sometimes be niggly, showing you as finishing in cover but not actually doing it or making it hard to choose when to stand & finish an execution The narrative & dialogue is average at best, often poor due to traditional Gears nonsense A few bugs here and there, with disappearing characters being one I've encountered a few times Cons Follow Wccftech on Google to get more of our news coverage in your feeds.
